7/12/2023 0 Comments Are strider knives in kingsmenIt's a thinner blade overall and it's been more enjoyable as an EDC blade in that respect. It's really easy to slice and pierce plastic baggies and break down boxes this the sebbie. Not sure how you like the weight of blades.īlade shape: I prefer the sebbies blade shape. Weight compared: The SNG is lighter then the large starbenza. Kinda hard to get your thumb under that thumb stud. I've found that the sebbie is a little harder to open. Opening compared: strider is way easier to open due to the thumb hole. Though it feels comfortable in hand, the strider has those curves. They're pretty and for me.it's harder for me to use it in say a painting environment because even though I know it'll be just 's so pretty.I don't wanna wreck it!! I haven't brought it to a strike(theatre term for breaking down a set) because again, it's just so pretty.Įrgos compared: IMO, the strider molds to your hand. I also own a CRK large starbenza and as you know, these blades are amazing. You know it has to be yanked at in order for it to come off. The pocket clip has a death grip on your pocket as Six told you. They carry like there's nothing in your pocket.well at least for me in my dickies pants. Sometime that entails painting, breaking down a set, loading in a set.things like that. I normally carry it when I'm off to my theatre job. It's the regular g10 with a flamed TI lock side. It's smooth, very easy to open due to the thumb hole, has a nice belly, ergos are different for everyone but they fit my small hands nicely, and the g10 is EXTREMELY grippy. For the comparison shots.I can post those.tomorrow afternoon. Here goes my opinion and I'll post up pics that I have in my phone. Important: This is not a debate thread, if you cannot respect fans of a different kind of knife than you own, please keep your opinions to yourself. Keep in mind, I'm not currently offering a trade, but simply doing research. I'd also like to hear opinions on which model Strider (and in what condition) would seem like an appropriate trade for the classic Sebenza seen in this thread. If you have personal experience with Strider folders, please post what kind you have (pictures are always great), why you like it, things you might not like about it, and why you chose that model over the other options Strider has made available. It occurred to me that I might be able to trade my old sebenza, for an old strider and have the best of both worlds, but I'd need to know far more about them before I could make that kind of decision. Unfortunately, aside from their reputation, I know very little about Striders. I'm a Sebenza owner, but I've always had respect for Strider folding knives, much in the same way I have a BMW, but I respect Audi.
